Educational Lab for students - Liceo De Chirico
EcoArte offered students a hands-on, interdisciplinary approach to sustainability and climate awareness. The project used art to engage students with environmental issues, connecting creativity with real-world solutions and linking local action to global challenges.
Through the Alternanza Scuola/Lavoro program, students explored how art can raise awareness about climate change and environmental protection, building shared understanding and collective creativity. The initiative encouraged students to become active participants in sustainability projects, while giving visibility to the Liceo De Chirico.
Students explored the four elements (Water, Air, Earth, Fire), the UN 2030 Agenda, and actionable sustainability measures, and applied their learning to collaborative projects. The course concluded with presentations and an exhibition of their work, connecting creativity, science, and civic engagement in a tangible way.
The program included classes with artists (such as Anna Maria Angelucci), scientific journalists (such as Sergio Ferraris), art curators (such as Giovanna Dalla Chiesa), and NGOs (such as CISP), giving students direct exposure to a range of expertise and professional practices.
Structure & Methodology
The course combined general project explanations with interactive modules: multimedia presentations, Q&A sessions, collaborative work on notebooks and posters, and a final exhibition of student projects.
